The discussions there led to the formation of the Polish Association for Yiddish Studies in Poland. Our goal is to preserve Yiddish language and culture as a living part of our common culture.</p>

<p>We are a group who read and translate Jewish texts: literature, poetry, archival documents. These we use in our research of philology, history, sociology and more, making everything available in Poland among other scholars.</p>

<p>Currently the association has more than 60 members.</p>

<p>Members support the goals of the Polish Association for Yiddish Studies in Poland, paying a yearly membership fee of (in 2013) 100PLN with a special discount for PHD candidates and students of 50PLN.</p>
