Join us in the summer of 2018 in Weimar for a unique program of workshops, concerts, jam sessions, dance events, films, lectures, special projects and much more, exploring Yiddish culture and its many intercultural connections.

People from all over the world have discovered the special experience that is Yiddish Summer Weimar, and everyone is welcome! We offer a wide range of activities for people of all ages and levels of experience, and how you put it all together is up to you. You can visit us for a single concert or stay the whole four weeks, and everything in between.


In 2018, our special topic is The Other Israel: New Spaces. We've invited very special artists, scholars and public figures whose work creates new possibilities to share their worlds with us.
