Workmen’s Circle’s Trip to Yiddishland 2016

The Workmen’s Circle’s Trip to Yiddishland program is a 7 day, 6 night retreat on our scenic Circle Lodge property in Dutchess County, NY. All are welcome, from brand-new Yiddishists to fluent speakers.

Trip to Yiddishland is a summer tradition nearly a decade in the making. This year’s program will take place from Monday, August 15-Sunday, August 21, and will include four levels of Yiddish classes, dance & klezmer instruction, theater & music workshops, concerts & entertainment, full pool & waterfront access, as well as three delicious meals per day.

Our Circle Lodge grounds include a nature lake and pool, tennis courts, and more—all just 70 miles from NYC.

Yiddishland 2016 will be led by master Yiddish teacher Kolya Borodulin with Shane BakerMotl DidnerMiriam HoffmanChava LapinZisl SlepovitchDeborah Strauss and Jeff Warschauer.

Rates range from $500-$1200, depending on room selections, and we’re pleased to offer university students a special $300 tuition with shared accommodations. All prices include meals, classes and rooms.
