Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone the seminar « Yiddish on the Continent » which was to be held in Brussels in July. Given the guidelines by our Government and the University, we will not be able to organise courses in a safe environment for all and to ensure the social distancing between students to limit the spread of the virus.
We are planning the Seminar for next year's spring break, from Tuesday, April 6 to Friday, April 16, 2021, and this, following the governmental regulations at that time. We hope to confirm the event in January 2021. In the meantime, we are accepting pre-registration for those of you who are interested. (iej@ulb.ac.be).
We are sorry that we have had to make this decision. However, it is still possible to study Yiddish this summer. Online sessions are being offered from Israël. For further information, please contact Miriam Trinh at miriam.trinh@gmail.com
Please contact us if you have any questions.
Take good care.
