The Rena Costa Center at Bar-Ilan University is devoted to the academic study of Yiddish language and culture. Its program includes research as well education and outreach in four main areas:

• Teaching Yiddish in Israel's Schools.
• Academic Research in the Yiddish Language.
• Global Outreach.
• Yiddish language instruction.

The Center usually also organises a summer course.
